New from Amy Daws!

If you read my last release, Last on the List, you’ll be excited to hear that those 3 crazy mountain men brother’s of Max are getting their stories told!

Help Wanted: Grumpy Mountain Man seeks baby momma. Job is an incubator position only. Surrogate must be impervious to grunting in the form of communication and nosey brotherly neighbors. Rustic mountain range housing available upon request.

I wanted to pummel my irritating brothers when they posted their own version of a wanted ad to help me with my life.

But I can’t fault the results once the right woman lands on my lap.

Becoming a single father is not a decision I made lightly. In fact, it’s the biggest decision of my entire life.

Which is why when I interview Trista, I know she’s perfect.

She’s wild, she’s opinionated, she wears cowboy boots. Even my pet goat loves her…

She’s the exact type of person I was holding out for.

And to my great horror, I realize on our first night of attempting this baby making dance…when the lights are low, the cheap wine is flowing, and the home insemination supplies are laid out on the kitchen counter…

I want to do a lot more than just make her my surrogate.

I want to make her mine.

  1. Wow. Cam’s story was my first one. I blew through every Harris Brother as they arrived. Finally, I decided to go back and I purchased the London Lovers series. It took me a while to start them but when I did, I so wished I had read them first. ❤️ Such deep emotion involved in every story. For everything you’ve endured to have those emotions, I’m so sorry.
I’m about to start Vi and Hayden’s story. I always saw him differently in the Harris Brothers. To see his back story before Vi…shocking, yet it was therapeutic. Thank you so much! I have enjoyed the whole giant London/Harris family of books!

    • I’m so glad you discovered my web of books that all interconnect in different ways!!! My latest release, Payback, features the Harris Brothers cousin and I’m releasing the next spin off in a couple weeks too called Blindsided. You get updates from all the Harris family and it’s so much fun!!! 🙂

      • I would love to see an older romance with him and Ronan Dewalt mom. May be a second chance romance in Life!! From betsy

      • Please one more Harris novel about Vaughn and Jane. Vaughn has suffered enough! He needs some happiness too!

      • I have a question. Is strength and that one one moment the same book? Cause I don’t want to get strength if it is. I have all your books. In love with your stories. Big fan

    • Hi! Great name by the way. Does Theo and Leslie have a book? Where to we read that Sloan and Leslie go into business together?

      • Theo and Leslie’s story is called London Bound and Sloan and Leslie meet in Dominate, which is part 2 in the Gareth Harris duet so be sure you read Surrender first! Links for these titles is on my home page!

      • Can’t wait to read Tillie and Santino’s story! Just finished Blindsided and loved it!!

      • I just finished Blindsided In less than a day-COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. There were so many great parts to that book, but the one where all the gals were hanging out, talking about that lying inner voice. LOL I was chanting with them. I know, I’m odd. Thank you for that moment.

This was the first of your books that I’ve read. I’m excited to read another… I just have to decide where to start.

  2. Hello – I have been reading the Harris brothers series and am on Strength about Vi and Hayden now. My question is, will there be a book about Hayden’s sister Daphney? Maybe she’s mentioned more in another book or already is one. Just curious since haven’t seen one on her yet.

  3. I am very, very tired right now. I stumbled across an add for One Moment, Please and LOVED it! Loved that it takes place in CO (I’m a native). I have now been binging your books, staying up until 2:00 in the morning, even though I need to work in the morning. I guess that is the benefit to remote working; I can work in my pajamas. Looking forward to reading more. 🙂

  4. By luck, I came across one of your books and I am now addicted. I am progressing through all your books and I am amazed. Your writing is witty, clever and interesting. Just during this week, I went to bed at 4am because I couldn’t stop reading Booker and Poppy. Your stories make me laugh and cry and this is great. “wow” ❤️😍

      • Blindsided made me 😂😂😂 and 😂😂😂 and all a sudden 😭😭 but what a book. ❤️❤️❤️
I finished first Wait with me, Harris Brothers, Footballer Spinoff Books and now starting London lovers series. I know I am reading them in the wrong order but still good.❤️
Would it be another spinoff of Footballer with Santino and Mac’s sister?
So far, I don’t think I was disappointed by any of your books. Of course, some of them had more impact on me than others like One moment please or Keeper. I really love the humor in Blindsided even my husband was fed up with me because I kept laughing until silly hours in the morning. Harris Brothers series is terrific.

      • I love that you’re buzzing through all of them!! I will definitely be giving Santino and Tilly a book! For now I am working on Dean’s story!🤩

  5. I have never been a big reader of romance novels but somehow found my way to your Harris Brothers series — looking for fun reads during COVID-19 – and have listened to almost everything you have written. My favorite is Blindsided — the dialogue was clever and entertaining and funny. And the audible narration enhanced it all. Thanks for the lovely ‘vacation’ during these tough times. Agree with others that Santino and Mac’s sister’s story would be eagerly awaited. And as a bit of an ‘older’ reader, would love a Vaughn Harris’s second romance story someday. In any case, keep it all up!

  6. Love your Harris brothers books! Just read all of them!!! Hoping you do one on stilly and Santino! All of them mad me laugh and on some cases cry! My favorite character was a Tanner! Hoping we see more of all of them soon!

  7. Love love your books making a collection. Just finish reading one moment please. On blinded now. So excited about that. Just want to no if strength and the V story is the same. Cause I don’t want to get strength if it’s the same as V and Hayden story. Please write more about the harries story.

      • I have to thank you for the insight you put into Strength from the suicide survivors point of view. My mother committed suicide 16 years ago and her note was a will instead of an explanation. So being able to read someone’s letter and feelings regarding it settled many doubts that weighed on my hearts for years.

  8. Hello Amy!
First & foremost THANK YOU! for keeping me entertained with your super awesome Harris series. I want to attend a Sunday Harris dinner! And then with the Colorado hotties…such a pleasure to “read”. Yes, I love to listen to your books because of the talented Will, Charlotte, Teddy & Erin narration of your writing is perfection!
I’m very excited to read about Vaughn & Vilma! Will I be able to “read” it on Audible with the amazing Will & Charlotte narrating? If not, then I’ll pre-order One More Step.
Also, thank you for introducing me to Nana Malone’s See No Evil Trilogy. She has also kept me entertained with Ben & Livie while I wait for your next book. But I may have to read For Her Benefit before your next book. I just gotta know what happens with Ben & Livie.
    Ciao ciao!

    • I’m uncertain about the plans for audio for One More Step at this time. So sorry! If I ever publish it myself you can bet I’ll grab Will and Char to help me though! Thank you so much for reading and listening!!!

  9. Hi Amy!!!
I am addicted to your books. I’ve just finished reading London lovers and you never disappointed me. Can you believe that I read Harris Brothers serie twice?? Your books were a good company during self-isolation and they were the reason that kept me awake a lot of nights. Do you know what I miss? Extra chapters!! For example I would love to know about Reyna and Liam babies …. thank you so much for writing such amazing books!!!
    Ana
    xx

    • Hi Ana! Extra chapters would be so much fun! Maybe I’ll do that some day!!! So glad you found my books and they’ve helped pass the time in this crazy world we’re all currently living in!! <3

  10. I had read the Harris Bros books, then came across London Livers and Strength so I finished the whole series again through Blindsided. Love all their stories❤️ Thank you. I have tried to get the Strength epilogue several times but have not succeeded. What am I doing wrong?

  11. I devoured four of your books in three days. I have loved them all although I think my favorite was Blindsided. I howled with Laughter and bawled. I love when books take you on such a roller coaster ride.

    • Thank you so much, Rhonda! I loved writing Freya and Mac!!! They are definitely one of the couples I miss after I type THE END!! I’m working on Dean’s book from the Wait With Me Series now and I’m having so much fun!

      • I reread Blindsided already. In just over a week, I have read the entire Harris Brothers series include Roan’s and Mac’s stories and Vi’s story. I also read Leslie and Theo’s story too. I read the three books set in Colorado too. Thanks for providing me with so much reading enjoyment. I hesitated to read Payback but I couldn’t resist and am glad I took a chance on it. Roan is such a lovable hero.

  12. Hi Amy,

I just finished reading One Moment Please. I’ve finished the series and I loved, loved it! ! can’t wait to read the rest of your books! I enjoy the romance and comedy combo. Kate by far makes me laugh out loud! You have such a creative mind! I’m wondering about Dean though…hoping that he’ll get a book sometime too.

Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed reading your work.

    Be well,
    Stephanie

    • I’m working on Dean’s book now and hope to release it in October! It’s called Take A Number! If you sign up for my newsletter, I’ll be emailing details out soon hopefully!

      • Amy will you be making a 2nd book to One moment please? I’d love to see their relationship w the baby, opening a clinic together, and do they get pregnant again. This is my favorite book ❤️.

  13. I just finished reading Take a Number. Really enjoyed book but frustrated that I can’t find the link to the bonus epilogue anywhere in the copy I borrowed from Kindle Unlimited —- even though final page says “keep reading for a link to the BONUS EPILOGUE” but no link to be found!

    • I have some plans up my sleeve for Vaughn! I highly suggest checking out Replay that’s coming April 8th (audio a few weeks later) for more on that!!! <3 Thanks so much for reading!!

  14. Where do I even start?!?! Because my husband is a medical professional and we had an infant at the start of Covid, I have basically been in quarantine for a year. Yes I run to the store and such but my family lives 850 miles away, I had to stop traveling for work (literally my favorite part of my job) and all my local friends (they all work with me) are still traveling too much for me to feel comfortable having them around my baby. A few months ago I was really starting to go a little nuts and decided to try audible just for something different. I’m a huge fan of cheesy romance and anything remotely rom com-ish! Blindsided was the first book I bought. I bought it because my niece’s name is Freya lol. I was instantly in love!! I really love the narration style, it’s like listening to a movi. It took me all of 3 weeks to binge the entire Harris Brothers series and I have since finished every book you have available on Audible.

I LOVE your writing! You make me want to take up writing but I’m definitely too old to change my career and my experience of journaling definitely doesn’t make me experienced enough to even know where to begin writing a book lol. Although some day my 2020 journal might be worth something. 🤣🤣

I NEED a Vaughn book!! We deserve to hear his side of things and we definitely deserve to see him find love again. I personally think because he had a connection with Salone, he should fall in love with her mother who’s visiting from Chicago making amends with her daughter!

Also, I would seriously LOVE a Harris Brothers movie series, just saying! Lol

    Keep up the good work!

    • Thanks for the sweet comment, Tabitha!! I agree, Vaughn needs love. And i might have some plans up my sleeve for him. Just be sure to check out Replay that’s coming April 8th (audio a few weeks later) for more on that!!! <3 Thanks so much for reading and listening!!!!

  15. I’ve been an audiobook fan for many, many years, as I like to listen while I work. I purchased blindsided, and about 2 chapters in I also got the kindle version. I’m not much of a romance reader, but I absolutely loved it. I especially enjoyed Will Watts’ narration. Even before Diana G wrote Outlander I had a thing for Scottish men. I do hope there may be another one in a future book!

    • Aww, that’s so fun to hear! Mac’s sister Tilly’s story is releasing on April 8th and I have cast an incredible female narrator named Paula Costello to narrate her Scottish accent! I can’t wait for everyone to hear it! The audio will likely release a few weeks after the ebook but it’s coming!!!

  16. Hello Amy,

I stumbled onto to Blindsided first and from there I have read everything. I have absolutely loved them all! I am so excited for Tilly and Santino’s story April 8th can’t come soon enough.

I’ve wondered about Vaughn’s story I just feel like it’s his turn.

Is the Wait with Me series complete? I was hoping for a story about Max the investment guy and Dean’s friend.

Whatever comes next after Tilly and Santino I’m sure will be amazing!

You have become a favorite author of mine, thanks for the great reads! Looking forward to so much more!

    Sheri

    • I’m hoping to write a story for Max soon! For now, I’m working on Sweeper…a Harris World story no one saw coming! (including me haha). I hope you’ve had a chance to grab Replay now that it’s live!! Thanks for the nice message!!!

  17. I listened to Blindsided and Replay. I loved them so much and interested in finding out about the Harris brothers. I have them all. Love them. The relationships, funny and sad moments have gotten me addicted to them. Listening to them has gotten me through the work at home order. I have escaped into them. Thank you!!

    • I’m so sorry but at this time, I will be keeping my books enrolled in Amazon Kindle Unlimited, so that means they won’t be available at other retailers. You may know this already, but in case you don’t, the Amazon Kindle app is free to download and then you can purchase the ebooks on Amazon to read there. I know it’s not convenient but it’s another option if you’re interested!

  18. Hi Amy, I love your books. I just finished Strength and want to start the other Harris brothers books. I have a question, will Julie have a book? I asked it because in Strength it doesn’t appear much but it seems to have a story. Thanks

    • I started writing Julie’s book ages ago but then got sidetracked! I’m not sure I’ll ever get back to it because I’m so far away from the London Lovers Series now…but i never say never!!

  19. Hi Amy,
I love your books and the Harris Brothers is still one of my favorite series (I’ve read it three times!) BUT I am two thirds of the way through Wait With Me and I have to stop. I love, love, love Miles as a book boyfriend and I can’t read his oncoming heartbreak. What the heck is Kate/Mercedes doing?! Please send me some assurances everything will be okay.
    Sally Todorow

  20. Hello I freaking love the Harris brother series and the spin-offs (my favorite was blindsided looooooove Mac)…….but I’m wondering if you will be writing about the footballer from the USA that santino and Vaughn recruited?!?!?!

  21. Hi Amy!

I have never written to an author before, but I feel moved to now.

My introduction to you was by way of Blindsided. I instantly fell in love with Freya, Mac, and their story. I was traveling to meet my college buddies for a 40th reunion cabin vacation when I read the Scotland brunch with the girls scene (Lying C&^%$). It brought me to tears, and motivated me to purchase Blindsided for the 3 women I was meeting, for that scene alone.

Blindsided also introduced me to several couples, and I wondered if they each had their own story. I was delighted to find out they did, and started at the beginning of the Harris Brothers series, reading through Blindsided a second time, with greater appreciation for all the characters involved. I then read the Wait With Me series and finally London Lovers series. Quite out of order, and wonderful none-the-less.

Amy – You are a gifted writer. Your stories are spicy and uplifting, but also approach deep, meaningful, tough subjects with compassion. They make me laugh, cry, think, and feel. They have been a welcome diversion at a rather difficult time in my life, and I thank you for that.

So that’s the real point here – Thank you for discovering your gift and sharing it with the world. You will never know how many lives you touch.

    With warm regards,
    Shell

  22. I am SO glad I stumbled across your TikTok about having the ER docs baby! I’ve read every book now on Amazon and I am hooked! You have a new forever fan!

  23. I loved the Harris brother’s series, enjoyed them all and am just starting Sweeper. My complaint, however, is your extreme use of the f word, at least for me. Occasional use I can handle, but the extreme frequency with which you use the word I find distasteful. It’s not necessary to tell the story. Yes, I am a 62 yo who does not use the word at all. I just wish you didn’t feel the need to use the word so liberally.

    • Sorry Bonnie, but I guess that’s just my style! I do think I’ve backed off on the use of them as my series has progressed. But unfortunately, I can’t write to everyone’s preferences. I hope it doesn’t deter you from continuing the series, but I understand if it does.

  24. Blindsided popped up on my Facebook Ads a couple weeks back. The excerpt caught my eye and I checked it out on Amazon. After listening to the audio sample and seeing this was a duet I jumped it because Duets are my favorite audiobooks. I LOOOOOVED this book! So much I bought a second copy for a friend who was having a crap week. I just love Mac & Freya so much I went on to read Payback then Replay mostly because I wanted more Mac and Freya. I loved both of the other stories and of course got sucked in to the minor cliffy at the end of Replay that leads up to Sweeper which now lead me to read the Harris brothers series which I finished around 2AM this morning because I needed to know the Harris family before reading Sweeper. Needless to say I’m hooked. Mac and Freya are my favorite couple and Tanner is my favorite Harris brother. I’d like to continue reading about them all. I love that when you write it’s not just the main couple but all the family and their reactions. I can’t wait and I’m nervous in how the family will react to Zander.

    Thanks again and Happy Writing!

    • That is so fun to hear! It’s always my hope that people will fall in love with one of my books and go back and read them all because I work really hard to build this Harris Brothers world and I love all my couples for different reasons!! Sweeper is live now so you can binge as soon as you’re rested enough! hahah. Thanks so much for the sweet note!!! And thanks for reading!

  25. Hi! Just wanted to thank you for being the first author in a LONG time that gets the balance of spice, banter and character development absolutely perfect. Truly excellent writing. I haven’t read a book of yours yet that I didn’t adore (and I’ve read them all 😃)

Your books have been a lovely escape and truly brought some joy in my life while going through some tough times. THANK YOU!! 💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗💗

  26. I know i read Vaughn and Vilma’s story! Where is it? What is it called??? Was it a short story somewhere???

  27. Huge fan of everything you write! You are my favorite author with the absolute best audiobook narrators (duet is life). Hoping for some Harris spin-offs with Belle’s brother, Linc, Phoebe, or any of the other amazing supporting characters. Of course a final final Harris romance with Vaughn would be amazing too.

    • I’ve been hearing this request a lot lately! We shall see! For now I’m starting a new series about those Boulder, Colorado brothers I introduced in my book, Last on the List! 🙂

  28. I started with the Wait with Me series, followed by the London Lovers series, and I didn’t stop until I finished Sweeper. I expect I to read them again because I miss the characters like I miss old friends who moved far away.

I wish I knew Frank more. No one can match the love he has for his chosen family. I want to know about his former life and his transformation into the wonderfully eccentric, yet wholly authentic character he is now. From what I’ve gleaned, I expect his origin story includes deep familial conflict centered around expectations of legacy, tragic loss, emotional pain, comedic relief, and bittersweet liberation. He walked away from a lot, but he didn’t go empty handed. He is too important to be a mere plot device–I have to know his story.

    • Hi Erin, I’ve always had a special place in my heart for Frank! I keep waiting for the right time to go back and write his story, but sadly, time is precious and I haven’t been able to get back to my London Lovers. Maybe someday though!!!

  29. I’ve just finished the London to lovers series after burning through the Harris brothers books. I absolutely love how they were all connected and I simply need more! There needs to be a whole series on Fucking Frank!I can’t deal with him 😂 Hands down my favourite character of all the books I’ve ever read! Might have to reread them just to get a regular Frank fix. Can’t wait to read the rest of your books, Amy! I hope you continue to bless us with your juicy writing skills 🙌🏻

    • Good ol Frank & Beans leaves a lasting impression! haha. I have no plans for a Frank book at this time, but maybe someday! For now I’m excited to have completed my Wait With Me Series! Love a complete series feeling!!

      • I loved the Wait With and series! Cozy is up there with my love for Frank 😍 I’ve officially read all you books now! Desperately need more x

    • There’s 10 books in total in the Harris Brothers world. Strength is the sister’s book, a prequel of sorts, then all the spin offs of teammates ending with a secret brother! If you want to read more about them I have a reading order tab on my website! http://www.amydawsauthor.com/readingorder

For now I’m excited to have completed my Wait With Me Series and will be starting a story about those sexy mountain men brothers I introduced in Last on the List!

  30. Amy, I just finished Blindsided. I laughed out loud and got weepy too. It was wonderful. I have to tell you the part with the text messaging about the craft tape measure and the part where Freya stuck him with a pin I actually had tears of laughter. Amy, I am almost 73 years old and I lost my husband of 50 years 3 years ago to cancer. He was a big burly athletic guy and you made me remember falling in love, exploration, laughter, secrets between just us. There weren’t always good days but those good together days are worth a lifetime. Thank you!

    • Aww, I’m so happy you connected with Mac & Freya, Louise! I recently lost my father to cancer, so I can empathize with the pain you’re experiencing. Though losing a partner is a different sort of pain than losing a father. Books are a great escape in difficult times, aren’t they? big healing hugs to you.

  31. HI. I just finished your waiting series. I loved Max’s brothers in last on the list. Will the Fletcher boys be getting their own books? What about Dakota?

  32. Hey Amy- I can came across Last on the List in booktok, just finished and am obsessed! I love your writing & am promptly going to read all the others in the series but I’m dying to know if the Fletcher brothers are going to get books!? Cause Wyatt… 🤤🤤 LOL

    • I second this!!! Literally just finished ‘Last on the List’ and need to know about these mountain men brothers!

  33. Loved last on the list book! Have read others as well. But is there any books about max brothers? The way Wyatt was mentions on being I was hoping to read his story as well?

  34. I am so in love with Max and Cozy’s story! Their chemistry and Cozy’s goofy characteristics really warm my heart ❤️ I’d love to read about Max’s mountain men brothers in the future????

  35. So holy cow like 4 months ago I read the soccer/football books first then went back read the Clark’s ones and then read a bunch of other stuff. December 1st was rolling around which is an important mental health (anniversary of a friends death) day for me and I was looking for an author I loved and a somewhat lighthearted book and read Wait with Me which was excellent and I was like ‘hey I want to know more about this author’ cause till this book I assumed you were British, anyway I was so excited to see you live not only in the states, but in South Dakota!! That’s awesome! Excellent books, thank you from a fellow South Dakotan ❤️

  36. Yeah, so Blindsided broke me. This was the first book of yours that I’ve read and I am an instant fan!!! I can’t wait to read through the rest of your books!! Better yet, listen to them!! The narrarators add everything and make it even better!! Their passion is so real!! FAN FOR LIFE!!!!

  37. I am currently reading the third book of the Harris Brothers. Poppy and booker. I’m at the part where they are playing strip ball. As I read it… I so believe this is the book that should be made into a ROM-COM. In my mind I just flashed all the way back to the beginning of the book and every word translates into a scene. So much so that I had to stop reading… scroll to the end to get this link so I could tell you.
My first book that I read of yours was this series. And I just have to say. Thank you.
I read a lot of romance. Some short. Some dark. Some really really dark and taboo. I probably read a book a day on average. Anyway sometimes when reading a series like this one where you get just as invested in the supporting characters. I get bored and skip pages or chapters to get to the “meat of the book”. I mean if you have read one sex scene you have read them all. I like the lead up and the aftermath more. I have to say reading this series. Each chapter reads like a scene on a movie. I guess what I am trying to convey is that. Reading a book involves describing the venue and… the colors of the room or the plant in the corner or going over the same conversation multiple times his POV or her POV. Sometimes it can be frustrating to read 20 pages of back story or 20 pages about the color of the wallpaper and how it is relevant
But I am enjoying this series so far because while having to give descriptions or backstop or every characters thought reasoning. It’s been a pleasure because it’s not redundant. Not boring. You are able to be concise to the point and creative. I wish I was a writer like you. Obviously from this lengthy note you can tell why I’m not. I have always wanted to be a romantic author. I have all these thoughts but can’t articulate like you do and I am signing off now. To get back to finishing poppy and booker. But just wanted to say I’m hoping someone gets this series to the right place and a movie or movies get made. Your writing is light and even when it the point of the story where it’s darkest or things seem bleak. Instead of just reading to get thru it. I find myself invested and imagining I’m watching Instead. Laughing outload or tearing up. . Thanks again.

  38. Currently reading Replay. Are we getting a story on Ron, Bell’s brother?
You described him like Henry Cavill and his back story sounds like it could be interesting.

  39. Please tell me there will be books for Links, Knight, and Phoebe. I need more footy books!
    Thank you.

  40. Loved all of your books. You should do a flash forward with Sophia playing football in the women’s league.

  41. Hey from Switzerland
By luck, I found your book “One moment please“ and I have to say; I’m obsessed! Like, I fell in love with the story and the characters so easily.
But I’m curious: Is there also a bonus epilogue for this book or is it in planning?
    I would be so excited!
